ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN FOR 2020
The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (HLT43015) has been designed with a focus on sport and fitness that equips graduates to work across different health disciplines assisting in a multitude of health professionals. Upon completion, graduates may choose to work as a physiotherapy assistant, with potential pathways also into occupational therapist assistant, occupational therapist assistant, speech pathologist assistant, exercise physiologist assistant and community rehabilitation therapists to name a few.
Allied Health Assistants are in increasing demand in the health and community sector working in hospitals, clinical settings, health, recreation and fitness environments.
Allied Health Assistants work under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals and are an integral part of a collaborative team in providing high standards of patient support, therapy and rehabilitation to increase mobility and independence.
This nationally recognised program is delivered by Swinburne University of Technology in partnership with Richmond Football Club.
