Richmond Institute is proudly partnering with Mental Health First Aid Australia to deliver Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training in communities and workplaces across Victoria.
Having mental health first aid skills can make a real difference to your community. Through this training, Richmond Institute and MHFA Australia will work together to empower community members to start an important conversation with someone they are concerned about.
What is Mental Health First Aid training?
Using an evidence-based Action Plan, Mental Health First Aid training teaches participants the skills to recognise signs and symptoms of mental health problems, and to assist someone who might be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
