School Based Traineeship (SBAT)
CERTIFICATE III IN COMMUNITY SERVICES - Health and Leisure SCHOOL BASED TRAINEESHIP CHC32015
This School Based Traineeship (SBAT) is designed to kick start your career as an employee in a range of community services, health and leisure management areas including client support, health/exercise programming, education and welfare. The program combines part-time work with Aligned Leisure (a minimum of seven hours per week for the duration of the traineeship), whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification with Swinburne University of Technology in collaboration with the Richmond Institute. With a focus of health and leisure, the program provides students with the experience and knowledge required for future success in the industry.
A School Based Traineeship (SBAT) combines a senior secondary program (VCE or VCAL) with part-time employment and studies of a nationally recognised qualification. As a school based trainee successful applicants will participate in scheduled training and employment each week.
Students will be registered with an Apprenticeship Network Provider who will assist with the lodgement of a Training Contract.
